Milliner Construction is a specialist building company focusing on design-led new-build and refurbishment residential projects. We work closely with clients, architects, and other construction professionals to deliver their vision and intent in the built form. Our services include high-end bespoke residential new builds, refurbishment and remodelling, as well as carpentry and joinery, encompassing kitchens, cabinetry, and more. 

We have built a reputation for excellence, notably constructing the acclaimed 'OutHouse,' a highly sustainable, environmentally friendly home that was the first private house in 15 years to feature on the RIBA Stirling Prize shortlist and went on to win the RIBA National Award in 2016.

Our work area covers, but is not limited to, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds, and surrounding regions. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Working Site Manager | Carpenter to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations at various job sites. Your role will involve supervising a team of workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties:

- Supervise and manage a team of workers at multiple job sites

- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

- Coordinate and schedule work assignments for the team

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and development opportunities

- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents that occur on-site

- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of work

- Work on the tools where required, with a suitable carpentry/multi-trade background

Experience:

- Proven experience in a Management role, preferably in the construction or building services industry

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

- Ability to read drawings and interpret project specifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word & Excel) for record keeping and reporting

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience

- Driving licence (preferably clean)

- Own basic tool kit

Pay: £25-30.00+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications

- Licence/Certification: CPCS Telehandler / FLT, SMSTS or equivalent 

- UK Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to Travel:

- 100% (required)

Work Location: Cirencester Gloucestershire (Initially for 4-6 months at this site)
